Home automation by Somfy

Home Automation

Home Automation by Somfy is the centralised control of solar shading and security applications in and around the home. Applications may include curtains, blinds and shades, projector screens and projector lifts, awnings, roller shutters, garage doors and other interior and exterior applications likely to be automated in a residential building environment. Somfy provide a range of wired and wireless solutions for the automatic control of all of these products which can be seamlessly integrated with other home automation systems such as lighting, AV and heating from leading manufacturers within the custom-install market.

Local controls & automatic systems

Local controls refer to wall mounted switches or remote controls. These are required in order to send commands to the motors i.e. raise, lower, open, close. For automatic control, sensors and timers are required to plan and delegate opening and closing functions i.e. sun, wind, rain... etc

For further information refer to local controls

Motorisation

Whatever the type of solar shading device or application being controlled, Somfy's motor range will meet the required specification.
